I am writing this article about how to get rid of the error.

Step 1

Go to ‘File Folder‘ from the ‘Taskbar‘. Then select ‘This PC‘ from the left sidebar and look at the right sidebar. Select ‘Local Disk from here.

Step 2

Next, choose the ‘Program Files‘ section.

Step 3

Inside the section, you will find the ‘CONEXANT‘ folder. Select it.

In this step, you have to select the ‘SA3‘ folder. 

Step 5

Consequently, only one option named ‘Hp-NB-AIO‘ will appear on the screen. You have to select it. 

Step 6

Next, scroll down to find the ‘setup64‘ application file. You have to run it. 

Step 7

After allowing the application, the ‘Application installation wizard‘ window will become evident. 

It will give you the possible suggestion in the ‘Task‘ box. You have to press ‘Ok‘ to execute the task automatically. While it will finish, you have to restart the PC and check the error.

Most of the time, you will not face the error anymore. But if it exists by any chance, you can try the other possible fixes.

Fix 2: Configure the ‘CxUtilSvc’ Service

Next, the possible fixes can be configuring the ‘CxUtilSvc’ service where ‘CxUtilSvc stands for Conexant Utility Service. To configure it, you need to apply the following steps.

Step 1

Firstly, you need to press the Windows and ‘R‘ keys together to access the ‘Run‘. 

Step 2

You have to type ‘services.msc‘ into the ‘Open’ box of the ‘Run‘. Then click on the ‘Ok‘.

Step 3

Consequently, the ‘Service‘ window will appear on the screen. You have to find ‘CxUtilSvc‘ from the service list.

Step 4

While you find the service, you have to double-click on it to open the properties window.

While it will appear, you need to customize the ‘General‘ tab settings. Then you have to click the ‘Start‘. Consequently, the ‘Service status‘ will show ‘Running‘. 

After that, you have to change the ‘Startup type‘ option into ‘Automatic‘. Then select the ‘Apply‘ and press ‘Ok‘ at the end.

The configure customization will ensure the ability to create Conexant audio factory successfully. By any chance, if it fails again, you can follow the next fix.

Fix 3: Check Windows Security

In many cases, the ‘Windows Security‘ helps to fix any issue. You can check ‘Windows Security’ to solve the error. Here I will give the details about the fix.

Step 1

Tap the Windows key and type ‘windows security‘ to access the app. Once appear, you need to click on ‘Open‘.

Step 5

Then, copy the below text and paste it into the address bar.

‘C:\Program Files\CONEXANT’

Then select the ‘CONEXANT‘ folder and press ‘enter‘ to start the scan. You have to wait for a couple of seconds to complete the scan.

If the Windows Defender does not find any threat, you can follow the next fix.

Fix 4: Update the Driver

Update the Conexant High Definition SmartAudio Driver’ is simple but effective for this kind of error. To update the driver, you need to follow the below steps.

Step 1

You can start the fix by right-clicking on the ‘Start‘ menu. While a new interface with several options will appear, you have to select ‘Device Manager‘ from here.

Step 2

After that, you have to scroll down to find out the ‘Sound, video and game controllers’ option. Once find, expand it.

Then you will see the ‘Conexant High Definition Smart Audio Driver‘ under the option. Right-click on it. After that, ‘Update driver‘ will be visible with some other options.

Step 3

While you click on it, you will get two options to update the driver either automatically or manually. You can choose any according to your situation.

After finishing the update process, you need to restart the PC and check the existence of the error. 

Fix 5: Reinstall the Driver

Reinstalling the ‘Conexant High Definition SmartAudio Driver’ can be a solution to the fix. To execute that, you need to uninstall the driver first. The full process will be described in detail below.

Step 1
