How to Leave a Microsoft Family?

The primary goal of creating a family group is to make parental controls and internet safety for kid and teen accounts easier to manage.

From your Xbox One console, Xbox Series X|S console, the Xbox Family Settings app on mobile devices, or any Windows PC, you may manage who’s in your family group.

You may be under the age of 18 and Microsoft will not let you modify your age, leave your family despite the fact that there are no other members and you are the organizer or join another family because you are currently in one. As a result, the dilemma of how to leave your family or allow someone else into the family is likely to arise.

You may not notice a ‘leave family’ button when you go to the family settings page, so you can’t leave the family; you may be registered under a child account even though the settings were previously adult. It’s somewhat perplexing, so you might want to view some YouTube videos. However, this will just add to your confusion.

You can’t leave the family group to switch to multiplayer mode. You’re also the only one in your family group. This is also one of the most commonly encountered issues.

You can modify your age on the Microsoft website by going to your account settings. Any age above 18 can be substituted. Then, on the Microsoft website, go to “family,” and there should be a button to leave the family.
